About Me

I'm a machine learning engineer working at a startup, Maqsam, in Jordan. My current work focuses on training and finetuning LLM models and efficiently serving them. I'm also working on building scalable infrastructures that can handle serving varying sync and async machine learning workloads.

I'm interested in research in HPC. Prior to Maqsam, I've worked on two projects in the field of high performance computing. At AUB, I worked with Professor Izzat El Hajj and Professor Amer Mouawad on implementing a parallel vertex cover implementation on GPUs. Later at KAUST, I worked on writing a hierarchical matrix multiplication algorithm on GPUs.

I'm looking for continuing my education and research in the field of HPC.
